World Number Two, Rafael Nadal has been named in Spain squad for November’s Davis Cup finals in Madrid.
Nadal was included in a list of five Spanish players, with Roberto Bautista, Pablo Carreno, Feliciano Lopez and Marcel Granollers also picked by coach Sergi Bruguera.
Nadal withdrawn from the Shanghai Masters three weeks ago due to wrist injury, and it remains to be seen if the 19time Grand Slam champion is fit enough to play at the Davis Cup come November.
Meanwhile, Nick Kyrgios was perhaps the most surprising name included on the list of Davis Cup participants which was revealed this morning.
Tennis bad boy fell out with Australian team captain Lleyton Hewitt and was ousted from the team for two years.
However, it has now come to the fall that he texted Hewitt earlier this year saying he wants return back in the team.
Nick will compete in the newly
revamped competition next month in Group D alongside Belgium and Colombia.
