The Nigerian Under-23 national team had their first training session on Sunday morning in Asaba, at the artificial turf where the second leg match between the Dream Team and the Sudanese under-23 side will take place.
Kelechi Nwakali was part of the training session where coach Imama Amapakabo took the boys only different routine tactical plays. Etyboy Akpan was the only player who did not take part in the training owing to a stomach ache.
The team is scheduled to hold two training sessions, the first started at 7 am to 9 am, while the second training session will take place at 4 p.m.
It could be recalled that the team lost 1-0 to Sudan in the first leg away in Sudan and will be hoping turn the tables around in the second leg come Tuesday the 10th of September.
