Abdullahi Ibrahim Osanga now new chairman of Nassarawa United

The Solid Miners now have a new helmsman. In the state capital Lafia, father to Nigeria youths international, King Osanga was confirmed by the Nassarawa state government, to oversee the affairs of Nassarawa United Football Club with immediate effect.

It could be recalled that the Barrister Isaac Danladi led board was dissolved last week. Prior to this dissolution, Nassarawa United became a team to be reckoned with in the NPFL with great work put in place by the astute administrator, who took Nassarawa United to the Continental Championship on two occasions under his watchful eyes as the chairman of the club.

The club has also played in the Aiteo cup final, getting to the semi-final in the last four years. Just last season, the team finished fourth position on the log of the NPFL.

Can Abdullahi Ibrahim Osanga step into the big shoes left by Barrister Iseac Danladi or surpass his records by winning the league for the first time in history of the club?
