I Wish Those Who emerged well, Bukola Saraki reacts to Loss

The President of the Senate, Dr Bukola Saraki, has stated that, in spite of the inadequacies that allegedly attended last Saturday’s presidential and National Assembly elections in Kwara State, he is wishing the candidates who emerged from the elections the best of luck.

Saraki had on Monday denied congratulating the winner of the Kwara Central Senatorial District poll, Dr Ibrahim Oloriegbe of the All Progressives Congress.

But Saraki, in a statement by his Special Adviser (Media and Publicity), Yusuph Olaniyonu, on Tuesday, stated that while the election was generally peaceful, there were inadequacies such as  multiple voting, over-voting and other discrepancies that were reported by agents of the Peoples Democratic Party across the state.

He added that the state chapter of his party would take a position on the right response to the inadequacies.
